Cardiac Care Services

When you are recovering from a cardiac procedure or living with conditions like congestive heart failure or high blood pressure, you may need additional care to get back to doing the things you love. Our skilled nurses guided by your doctor provide the specialised cardiac care you need to regain your independence.

The registered nurses would help in terms of:

Diet – Eating nutritional food that include fruit and vegetables and low-fat meats. Low salt diet and avoiding highly processed foods, also eating in smaller portions.

Exercise – Exercise improves one’s cardiovascular health. 30 minutes a day most of the week is a highly recommended. Realistic goals are often set as part of the care plan.

Medication – Taking medication on time and having them reviewed by your cardiologist or doctor.

Appointments – Keeping doctor’s reviews to enable regular checks, to report any changes and to ensure your condition is not getting worse.

In CLCS, we provide participant-centred care resulting fewer hospital visits, improved quality of life, better health outcomes, holistic education for the patient and family members, improved coordination and access with healthcare providers, and assistance with identifying community services when needed.
